The problem is, even though your trainee instructor is entitled to work in the industry, they have not passed their exam that shows that they can instruct someone properly on how to drive. The pass rate for this exam is very low, only at around 30%.
If you want to make sure that your driver is going to be qualified or not then you need to do everything you can to make sure that you are going to get a highly qualified, government approved instructor. Be aware of DSA approved phrases as well, and don’t be afraid to ask for someone who is fully qualified and who has passed this exam.
