If you are currently taking driving lessons Doncaster then you will know that younger drivers and those who are taking their driving lessons are now allowed on the motorway. This is a completely optional undertaking and if your instructor thinks that you are ready then there is no reason at all why you wouldn’t be able to go and try it out for yourself before you commit to your full license. If this is the case for you then you should note that the Yorkshire South motorway is going to be closed for repairs, however it is only part of the motorway that is going to be off-limits.
Roadworks will happen on the South Yorkshire motorway and other areas of the road may also be restricted as well. This is going to happen for most of the week. The roads in particular include the M1 Northbound and the M18 Southbound. These link at Thurcroft, Rotherham and they are going to be closed overnight to try and prevent as much disruption as possible. They are going to be closed for a total of five nights and the starting point is tonight. The idea is that it is going to be for carriage repairs.
The main reason for this undertaking is because huge plumes of black smoke were spotted as a fire raged near the Doncaster town centre. The closure will take place between 8pm and 6pm, and if you are going to be driving on the motorway during this time then you will be given a diversion route to take. The signs that you need to follow will be very clear, so you should not have any problems at all when the time does come for you to take your trip on the Doncaster motorway
